Hatch Transformation Theatre presents:
The Human Bridge- Racial Healing in the Workplace
The changes happening in our socio-political landscape in South Africa are compelling businesses to adjust accordingly. We must address the challenges of a racially diverse workplace and create a place of safety that allows for open and honest discussions at all levels of the organisation.
Engaging in courageous conversations about racial healing can be daunting.
Get in touch to book a powerful and thought-provoking theatrical performance, followed by a practical Hatch facilitation process, as a tool to safely broach this sensitive topic.
The performance is followed by a facilitated dialogue with the audience, to create frank dialogue regarding the workplace challenges highlighted in the play.
Why are people so reluctant to engage in discussions on race relations?
I have learned that in the work of the soul of South Africa, it is difficult for any frank conversations to happen without a personal investment from the participants, because every single one of them has encountered the effects of separate development, either by being oppressed by it or by benefiting from it.
We must confront our past to do better for our future.
Theatre can create the necessary healthy distance between subject and participant, while facilitated conversations can drive conversations to a common goal.
